Dear TQIP Participant,
We are excited to officially announce that starting in January 2026, we will be transitioning to a new data submission pathway that allows your facility to submit data in a timelier fashion, directly from your registry product. You will no longer need to manually create and upload your file to the TQP Data Center. With this transition, we expect the new process will streamline and improve the data submission experience for your facility, enhance data quality, and lead to more timely data submissions.
Prior to this announcement, we have been working with all the known trauma registry vendors in the marketplace informing them of this change. They have been provided with the technical requirements needed to make this a smooth transition for your facility. However, please confirm your vendor is aware and preparing your product for this transition in early 2026. If your vendor is not aware of the transition, please have them reach out to us directly and we will provide them with the technical requirements.
In the coming months, we will continue to send follow-up emails providing updates and revised education on how this transition will impact your facility. We have also set up a dedicated page on our website that will list all previous communications regarding this transition as well as an FAQ. Please refer to this page to find the latest information regarding this change.
We will also be holding a pilot for interested facilities so that participants can test this new process and provide feedback on possible improvements prior to launch. In order to participate, your registry product will have to be compatible with the direct data submission method prior to the official launch in January. If interested in participating in the pilot, please complete the form below and we will notify your vendor of your interest. However, please note that it is entirely up to the discretion of your vendor for how they engage with potential pilot participants.
